What is considered a valuable card?

In Magic: The Gathering, valuable cards are usually recognizable by a golden symbol (Rare) or red symbol (Mythic Rare) .

In the case of Pokémon , these are usually holo, reverse holo or full art cards , EX , GX , V , VSTAR , VMAX or rare promo cards .

Cards are considered valuable if they have an estimated individual value of at least €5 or are particularly popular with collectors.

We check each card individually to ensure you always get the best possible and realistic market price – regardless of whether it's a new or older edition.

If you are unsure which of your cards are valuable, you can simply send us photos of your collection.

This allows our team to quickly assess how comprehensive and valuable your cards are.

Here's the best way to proceed:

1. Photograph your valuable cards:
   
   In Magic : Take photos of Rare (gold symbol) and Mythic Rare (red symbol) cards .
   
   Up to 32 cards (four rows of eight cards each) can be shown in one image.
   
   The cards can remain in the folder or binder .
   
   If you have foils, please mark them briefly (e.g. with a small cube or sticker).
   
   For Pokémon : Photograph all holo, reverse holo, full art, EX, GX, V, VSTAR, VMAX and promo cards .

2. Additionally, show us an overview of your collection:
   
   One or two photos with your standard cards (e.g., Commons, Uncommons, Basic Countries, Trainer cards) are sufficient.

Valuable cards

For particularly sought-after or rare cards – such as Pokémon EX, GX, V, VMAX, VSTAR, Full Art or Promo cards as well as Magic: The Gathering Rares and Mythic Rares – we offer daily updated purchase prices .

Depending on the edition, condition, language and current stock, we pay up to 70% of the usual market price .

Other maps

For rare or high-value cards with a market value of up to €20, we usually pay about 60% of the market price .

Depending on demand and condition, we will reimburse cards with a market value of up to €5 at 10-50% of the market price .

Bulk cards

We refer to cards that have no relevant individual value as bulk – that is, cards with a market value of less than €0.50 , often commons, uncommons, basic lands or common Pokémon cards .

Our purchase prices for bulk cards are:
