40k Drukhari: Scourges

If you want to expand your Drukhari army with a mobile elite unit, the Scourges are a very suitable choice. The set belongs to Warhammer 40.000 and brings exactly the kind of dynamism that makes many Drukhari models so appealing. For Players who want to make their force more mobile, and for Collectors who like the faction's dark style, this is a strong kit with plenty of character. The Scourges fit well into projects that focus not only on numbers, but also on speed and appearance.

The Drukhari Scourges are particularly worthwhile if you are not simply looking for more infantry, but for a unit with clear mobility. This is especially exciting in a faction like the Drukhari, where speed and pressure often play an important role. For buyers who want to make their army more varied, Scourges are therefore a sensible next step. Even if you are building your Collection gradually, they immediately add a different touch than classic ground troops.

For Drukhari collectors, this set is appealing because it portrays the faction in a highly characteristic way. The Scourges look dynamic and threatening at the same time, ensuring that a Collection does not appear static or too uniform. Those who maintain a Warhammer 40.000 faction collection often pay particular attention to units like these, which broaden and refine the overall appearance. This makes Scourges a good addition to both the display cabinet and the hobby table.

In the game, Scourges are especially appealing when you want to complement your Drukhari army with a flexible unit. They bring movement to the battlefield and fit well into lists that rely on rapid positioning. This is attractive to many Warhammer players because units like these make the game feel much more dynamic. If you play Drukhari not only for their appearance but also for their speed, this set is a very logical choice.

The different weapon options make the Scourges interesting because you can build the unit differently depending on your project and army concept. For hobbyists, this means more freedom when assembling, and for Players, a unit that can be deliberately customized. Especially for a faction like the Drukhari, where versatility can be important, this is a real advantage. The set therefore remains exciting not only visually, but also during assembly.

With the included 32 mm round bases, you get the right foundation for the models right away. This is convenient because you do not have to complete your project with additional Accessories first. Anyone who regularly builds Warhammer models knows to appreciate these small but important details. They make getting started easier and ensure that the unit can be integrated neatly into your army.

If you're torn between Scourges and another ground unit, it depends on your army's goal. More infantry provides breadth, while Scourges provide speed and a different kind of presence. For many Drukhari lists, that's exactly the more exciting route, because it makes the army feel more mobile and versatile. Anyone deliberately enhancing their force rather than simply filling it out will generally be happier with this unit.

The set is particularly appealing to buyers who want to actively develop their Drukhari army. Building and painting it right away is therefore the obvious choice for most people. However, if you maintain a Warhammer 40.000 Collection and deliberately want to set aside certain models, you can of course also keep the box unopened. The deciding factor is whether you want to start a mobile elite project right now or simply secure another faction model.
