40k Grey Knights: Combat Patrol

If you want to start with Grey Knights in Warhammer 40.000 or meaningfully expand your existing army, the Combat Patrol is a very practical choice. The box brings together several key units, giving you a compact force that immediately looks like a real army core. Especially for Players who don’t want to mix individual boxes randomly, this kind of entry is pleasantly straightforward. Collectors also benefit because the unit selection is thematically well coordinated.

This box is especially worthwhile if you want to start directly with a playable core instead of gathering everything individually. The Grey Knights Combat Patrol gives you exactly the kind of selection that saves time when building a new army while remaining flexible. For Warhammer 40k Beginners, this is often the most convenient way because it allows you to quickly create a coherent list. Those who already have a Collection tend to use the box more as a powerful expansion.

Many collectors like Combat Patrols because they provide a thematically cohesive picture of a faction. This works very well here with Grey Knights. The included models fit together visually and thematically, so with one box you can directly build a clear section of your Warhammer 40.000 Collection. If you maintain your Grey Knights not only as a gaming army but also as a proper Collection, this set is especially convenient.

A Combat Patrol is especially practical because it gives you different roles in one box. This makes building a playable Grey Knights army much easier. You don’t just get a single unit, but a base you can work with right away. For Warhammer 40k Players, this is often the most efficient way to get to know a faction and then expand it purposefully. This way, your project stays manageable yet versatile.

Included are a Grey Knights Librarian in Terminator armor, a Nemesis Dreadknight or alternatively a Grand Master, five Grey Knights Terminators, and ten Grey Knights Strike Squad models. The Terminators can also be built as Paladins or Brotherhood Champions, while the Strike Squad allows additional build options such as Interceptors, Purifiers, or Purgation Squad. With suitable bases, you get a set that immediately serves as a complete foundation for your Warhammer 40.000 project.

If you need multiple Grey Knights units, the Combat Patrol is often more sensible than buying individual standard boxes. You get a clearly coordinated selection that makes building easier and reduces decision stress. For Players who want to approach Warhammer 40.000 in a structured way, this is a real advantage. Individual boxes are more worthwhile if you already know exactly which unit is missing. For starting out, the Patrol is usually the better option.

The Combat Patrol is suitable for beginners, returning players, and those looking to expand their Grey Knights army. Collectors who want to build a complete faction will also find a very solid foundation here. If you play Warhammer 40.000 not just occasionally but with a clear project in mind, this box is an especially good choice. It combines gameplay value, collector-friendliness, and an easy-to-follow introduction.

The box works very well as a gift if the recipient is already interested in Grey Knights or wants to get started with Warhammer 40.000. It is ideal for your own project if you are looking for several matching models right away and don’t want to start from scratch. Especially for a faction like Grey Knights, a solid foundation is more important than many individual purchases. That is exactly what this Combat Patrol provides in a very practical way.
