40k Necrons: Necron Warriors

If you want to build your Necron army with a genuinely useful core force rather than a single model, the Necron Warriors are a very sensible starting point. The set belongs to Warhammer 40.000 and provides classic Necron infantry that fits well into existing armies. Especially if you are looking for a faction that immediately looks like Necrons on the tabletop and clearly feels like basic infantry, this set is exactly the kind of building block you will be happy to use again and again later.

Many Players choose Necron Warriors when they want to fill out their army list sensibly rather than buy just a single character model. This is practical for building an army, as a standard unit quickly gives you more presence on the table. Even if you're new to Warhammer 40.000, this type of kit is pleasantly straightforward. You get a unit you can paint, bring into play, and later supplement with additional Necron models, instead of committing right away to a very specialized choice.

For many Necron Collectors, it is not just the model itself that matters, but also the role it plays within the faction. Necron Warriors are one of the units that allow you to build a Collection in a coherent and credible way, because they embody the classic image of a Necron force. Anyone who wants to collect a complete and cohesive faction often needs precisely these kinds of core units, rather than just eye-catching centerpiece models. This also makes the set appealing if you prefer to expand your Collection gradually and with a clear structure.

If you play Warhammer 40.000, Necron Warriors are especially useful because they give your army a reliable infantry base. This is particularly helpful if you don't want to rely solely on large individual models or specialized units, but need a functional force that can hold objectives and contribute throughout the game. For Beginners, the set is also approachable because a unit like this lets you understand many of the game's basic principles without immediately delving into complex special rules.

Those who collect Necrons are often looking for more than just any model - they want a clear faction identity. This is exactly where the Necron Warriors excel. They fit equally well into armies, display cases, and hobby projects, making them more than just filler. If you want to expand your Warhammer 40.000 Collection with Necron infantry, this set is an obvious building block that can later be combined well with vehicles, elites, or character models.

In Warhammer 40.000, Language does not play as significant a role as with Trading cards, but many hobbyists still pay attention to consistent assembly instructions and clear product categorization. Those who like to keep their hobby projects consistent often deliberately choose a version that matches the rest of their Collection. This is especially convenient when you are building several boxes from the same faction in parallel or want to document your army neatly over the long term. This keeps the project organized and makes the overall concept feel more cohesive.

Compared with elite units or vehicles, Necron Warriors are the much simpler choice if you’re looking for a solid foundation first. One major advantage is that they immediately give your army more breadth instead of having you buy just a single centerpiece. So if you’re hesitating between a specialist unit and a core troop choice, the Warriors are usually the more practical decision to start with. For many Necron armies, they are exactly the backbone on which everything else is built later.

This set is particularly interesting for buyers who not only collect, but genuinely want to build and play. Anyone who regularly brings Warhammer 40.000 to the table benefits from a unit that fits meaningfully into a larger army. At the same time, you can of course keep the Necron Warriors as part of a structured Collection if you want to complete your faction step by step. For anyone looking for a lasting foundation for Necrons, this is a very reliable building block.
