Latest expansion: Pokémon Crimson & Purple – Mists of Legend

The latest expansion to the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Crimson & Purple—Mists of Legend, has been officially revealed and will be released on August 2, 2024. This exciting set continues the adventure in the mysterious Kitakami Province and brings stunning cards, including exclusive promo cards with unique full-screen illustrations in the Japanese woodblock style.

Brand new promo cards

Three brand new promo cards were introduced: Seedraking-ex, Quajutsu-ex and Gladimperio. Seedraking-ex is part of the special illustration collection of the same name and contains 5 booster packs from Mist of Legends as well as 2 foil promo cards featuring Seeper and Seemon. These cards are designed in the Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock style and feature impressive illustrations.

Seedraking-ex and its developments

Seedraking-ex, Seeper and Seemon were recently revealed and are part of the Japanese Night Wanderer expansion.

These cards offer exciting attacks and abilities:

• Seaper : Stand Still – Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon; Fin Cutter – 20 damage.
• Seamon : Back-Up – Search your deck for up to 3 Pokémon, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Then shuffle your deck; Sharp Fin – 40 damage.
• Seedraking-ex : Royal Command – Discard up to 3 Water-type Pokémon to your Bench; Hydro Pump – 50+ damage. This attack does 50 more damage for each Water Energy attached to this Pokémon.

Quajutsu-ex and Gladimperio

Quajutsu-ex is part of the "Quajutsu-ex Special Illustration Collection", which contains 5 booster packs from the Mists of Legends and two foil promo cards featuring Froakie and Amphizel. Gladimperio is part of the "Gladimperio Illustration Collection", which contains 4 booster packs from the Mists of Legends and two foil promo cards featuring Gladiantri and Caesurio.
