Hols der Geier is a legendary card game where tactics, judgment, and a bit of luck determine victory or defeat. Cleverly played cards earn points, but those who are too greedy get the vulture – and thus negative points. A true classic by Alex Randolph, it has been delighting gamers for decades.

Game principle

In each round, a scoring card is revealed. All players secretly choose a card from their hand and reveal it simultaneously. Whoever plays the highest card secures the meerkat points. But beware: Vulture cards are worth negative points – and those who bid too high will be doubly annoyed. Tension, schadenfreude, and tactical awareness make each game unique.
